Apprentice Winner Screws Runner Up

Not literally of course, but Trump had every intention of hiring Rebecca after he named Randal as his new Apprentice. That is, until he asked Randal for advice. The selfish bastard said that there should only be one apprentice and that he shouldn't hire her too. Man, the look on her face. You could definitely tell what she was thinking... "you rat bastard sonofabitch, I will kill you in your sleep." So Trump says (paraphrasing here) "oh, I could have been talked into hiring her but since you said no, I won't."

It looked to me from the beginning of the 2 hour show that he intended to hire both of them. It was totally set up the whole way. He even had them pick which job they would want and they picked opposite ones. He was like "oh, that's great, makes it easier." At that point I thought it was a done deal. He would pick Randal and then after the dust settled tell Rebecca that she was hired too. Randal ruined the surprise. Why Trump is listening to him is beyond me... Of course he may end up hiring her anyway, after all the excitement is over. Randal just didn't want to share the limelight with anyone else.

One thing I do not like about the Apprentice, or some other "reality" shows as well, is the constant attempt to make people into enemies. Trump does it all the time. Why is this person bad? Or why is this person worse than you? What stupid thing did they do? He manages to take two people that are very friendly towards each other and respect each other and make them say horrible things about the other. It gets so ugly. That part I do not enjoy. I say, focus on yourself. Why are you great? Why would I hire you? I don't go into a job interview and say shit about the other candidates. Maybe that's something new I could try next time.

I'm about to begin my serious Christmas shopping so I thought I would start with one present for my 2 balding friends first. Merry Christmas boys!
