Sorry for the delay, it appears blogger has some issues this morning.
So, funniest thing last night. Doorbell rings and I answer and there's this little boy, about 4, dressed in a batman costume but alone and no bucket or bag for his candy. I wait for him to say something but he just stands there silently. Not wanting to scare him, I softly ask "what do you say?". Looking down at the ground, he says even softer "please give me candy". I had to laugh...
We ended up with about 30 kids total, plenty of candy left over for yours truly. Last kids were around 8:30 and never did have the way too old teenagers with pillow cases this year. Probably helped that I turned off all the lights at 8:45.
Watched Catwoman last night... ugh, don't you all make the same mistake. There's an hour and 40 minutes I'll never get back.
