So, it's like this.... I have about 230 dvd's in my collection now and when we started buying them about 6 years ago we decided to get a cabinet to hold them. Worked like a charm, until we hit about 200, then we ran out of space. You'd think we could find another cabinet that matched, right? Wrong...
So, I spent last night and part of Sunday putting together 2 4" binders and pulling every dvd out of it's case and putting it into binder sleeves. Finally got it done last night. Ended up creating sections with tabbed dividers so I can find them easier by genre. One binder has Action/Adventure, which by far has the most dvd's, and Drama. The other binder has Comedy, Animation, TV and Music. One thing I forgot about was that probably 60% of the dvd's actually have 2 dvd's in the case so for 230 movies I needed almost 50 binder sleeves at 8 per sleeve (400 storage places).
Anywho, now I can move the storage cabinet to the basement or something and all the dvd cases are in 3 boxes. Just what I needed, more crap in the basement.
While in Best Buy the other day I found Tiger Woods 2005 for my PS2 on sale (2006 is out now) so I picked it up. I love golf games and I won't pay full price so I've been waiting for the chance to pick it up on sale. Strange game play. Instead of the standard power meter style of play, you actually pull back on the joystick for the backswing and push forward for the frontswing. It took a bit of time to get used to. It has all the normal things like applying spin, hooking/slicing the ball, adjusting ball position, etc. It also allows you to create a player with every possible personal characteristic possible. Things like nostril size or eyebrow shape are all adjustable... Quite interesting. I am trying to make one that looks like me with my body shape and size. Man, he is one goooood looking dude! Only takes about 2 hours to create your player, haha.
Maybe some day I will actually play a round.

YOU are such a dork. I suppose your going to have acard catalog and a check out procedure?
I just have a front heavy cheap wood thing that has DVDs falling out at random times on my head. When that happens I toss THAT DVD to create room for less aggressive DVD.
Links - much better with over 400 free courses including Augusta.
Me? You're calling me a dork? Man, ain't that a bitch. The pot calling the kettle black so to speak.
I do have all my dvd's catalog'd in software (dvd profiler).
I do not have a check out procedure per se, but I do keep track of loans.
I have Links on my pc, I wanted something I could play on the PS2 on my big screen too.
