Japanese baseball players have brought many things to American baseball, such as bowing on the field, increased sushi sales and now these things. Apparently they are great for wearing your shower thongs and American players have started wearing them too, citing increased traction and a more snug feeling...
Maybe I should check into these for golf and hockey.
