Well, yesterday marked the passing of another year for me. One step closer to death, I guess. Looking back it's pretty hard to see where the years have gone. Seems like I just moved back to Wisconsin after 15 years in Seattle, but that was 9 years ago now.
My years of baseball and softball are behind me. I'm still managing to keep playing hockey though my skills, speed and stamina are all degraded and I've been relegated to playing defense. I'm still bowling at the same level and I figure I've got a few years left in me before I'll have to change how I bowl in order to lessen the pain in my arthritic knuckle. I'm golfing more than ever, mostly because I now have the money to do it and courses that are very accessible. I think I'm getting better but it's a gradual process.
One thing is for sure, the older you get, the faster the years fly by. Kind of like how water spins faster the closer it gets to the drain... Of course, I plan on living well into my 90's but now I have to take this retirement idea pretty seriously and planning for it is now priority number one.
Wow, this is a depressing post!
Ok, something better. We went to PF Changs for dinner last night. I love that place, such great food. I had my usual, Kung Pao Chicken. It was awesome, I ate all of it, followed up by these pastry things filled with hot chocolate that you dipped in a carmel/peanut butter mix and rolled in toffee. Mmmm, now that's good eatin'. I'm still full this morning.
Today starts my 4 days of bowling in a row. Not sure how that is going to work out. Friday won't matter as it's mostly just a company drunk fest.
On the bright side, it's supposed to get up to a balmy 8 degrees today. Yay! We had an inch of snow or so yesterday that was very slippery, causing massive pileups on the highways, including a 4 hour closure of Interstate 90 to clean up a 20 car mess.
Well, that's all for now. Stay classy Madison.

It was so warm out yesterday I didn;t even put a cap on to brush the snow off the sidewalk - it was like 5 or something.
I figured the snow would just melt being so hot so I didn't clear anything. Plus, I don't believe in shoveling on my birthday!
